Larissa joined the Model UN club at BFIS two years ago and has since attended several conferences as a delegate and two as a chair. She has participated in conferences both online and in person in Barcelona such as DSBMUN, BERMUN, BIMUN, and more, and is looking forward to attending BFISMUN as a chair for the UNHRC committee. Aside from having an interest in politics, Larissa also enjoys listening to music, playing volleyball, and traveling to new places. She is honored to be part of the Chairing team for the upcoming BFISMUN conference and is looking forward to seeing some amazing debate!
Sebastian Deldicque
Sebastian Deldicque is a junior at Benjamin Franklin International School of Barcelona. Sebastian was born and raised in the United States, and moved to Barcelona four years ago. Through his interest in the United Nations and global politics in general, he joined Model UN two years ago. He has successfully participated in several conferences such as BCNMUN, BIMUN, and BFISMUN. This year he will be chairing for the first time in the UNHRC committee. Engaging in Model UN has been essential for Sebastian's personal and leadership growth, providing him with the confidence and essential skills needed for roles outside of MUN. The experience has not only equipped him academically in IB courses such as Global Politics, but has also translated into real-world leadership positions. Serving as the president of the National Honor Society (NHS) and Entrepreneurship Club, as well as being an elected member of the Student Council, reflects how his Model UN journey has seamlessly prepared him for diverse and impactful leadership roles. Outside of MUN, Sebastian enjoys competing in track and cross country, going to gym, and creating and listening to music. Ultimately he hopes for an enriching and valuable experience for all participating delegates this year in BFISMUN.
