Vic Markarova is currently an IBDP1 student at the Benjamin Franklin International School in Barcelona. She is Ukrainian-Armenian and spent half of her life living in Kyiv, Ukraine, before moving to Barcelona. Over the years, Vic has participated in multiple Model United Nations conferences including international ones such as IMUN and ACTMUN, and has earned awards at BFISMUN, BIMUN, and OAKMUN. She has also chaired at BFISMUN and is set to chair at the upcoming BIMUN. Fluent in five languages including Ukranian, Russian, Spanish, Catalan, and English, Vic combines her leadership ability with a deep passion for justice, politics, and history, which continuously drives her engagement in academic and extracurricular pursuits.
Mia Cope is currently in her first year of the IB Diploma Programme at the Benjamin Franklin International School in Barcelona. She is Mexican-American and spent most of her life in the United States, living in Austin, Texas, and Bend, Oregon, before moving to Barcelona in 2023. She is fluent in English and Spanish. As a dedicated MUN member, Mia has attended eleven conferences in Spain and abroad, earning two awards along the way. Transitioning from delegate to chair, she is excited to debut in this role at BFISMUN 2026. She strives to create an inclusive committee environment where delegates feel supported, challenged, and confident, and values MUN for the way it brings people together while encouraging personal growth. As a proud BFIS student, Mia can’t wait to oversee engaging debate and thoughtful discussion throughout the conference.
Jenny Park is currently in her last year of the MYP at Benjamin Franklin International School. She was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Barcelona at the age of seven. She speaks three languages, including English, Korean and Spanish. She began her MUN journey in 8th grade as an admin, then as a delegate where her voice shook while delivering her first speech. Over time, attending various conferences and connecting with new people, she deepened her love and understanding of MUN. She has won Best Delegate in BIMUN and was awarded in numerous conferences, including last year’s edition of BFISMUN. Jenny has also gained chairing experience, most notably serving as President Chair of the Security Council at OAKMUN 2026. Through MUN, Jenny has developed a passion for public speaking and human rights. She looks forward to creating this edition of BFISMUN as a conference that encourages growth among all delegates.
