The Persuit of Peace in a Polarized Era
March 20th - 22nd, 2026
March 20th - 22nd, 2026
Destinguished delegates, honorable guests,
At BFIS, our MUN community is again looking forward to one of our favorite moments of the year. A time when our passions align with the world’s needs, and a project where we manage to blur the line between fostering diplomacy and creating lifelong friendships. Thus, it is with great excitement that we release our invitations for BFISMUN 2026, the fifth annual edition of Benjamin Franklin International School Model United Nations. This year’s conference will be held Friday, March 20th - Sunday, March 22, 2026.
For half a decade, BFISMUN has created an environment of enhanced collaboration, critical thinking, and confidence among young global citizens. This year’s conference continues that tradition under the theme “The Pursuit of Peace in a Polarized Era,” challenging delegates to explore how nations can employ dialogue and cooperative action to bridge growing ideological and geopolitical divides in an increasingly fragmented world.
BFISMUN 2026 will feature a diverse range of committees, each of which will be discussing two carefully selected topics connected with the conference theme:
United Nations Security Council (UNSC)
United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISC)
Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
Additionally, we are thrilled to introduce our first-ever middle school–specific committee, designed to provide our youngest participants with a supportive and enriching introduction to Model United Nations:
General Assembly (GA)
All committees will be conducted entirely in English as a way of maintaining international dialogue and inclusivity. Research reports for each topic and other delegate resources will be released on our website in the following months to help delegates prepare for the conference.
To register (As a school or independently), please complete the BFISMUN 2026 Registration Form.
The conference fee is 70€ per delegate, covering snacks, lunch (Saturday only), delegate materials, and participation in all conference activities. Additionally, accommodation recommendations for visiting schools can be provided upon request. For any further logistical information and delegate resources you are in the right place!
If any further questions arise, contact us at bfismun@bfischool.org
We look forward to welcoming delegates to BFIS and what promises to be a truly insightful and intellectually engaging experience, BFSIMUN 2026.
Warm Regards,
BFISMUN Team, 2026
