Thomas Marteau Henriquez 

Thomas Marteau is a dedicated student at Benjamin Franklin International School, currently in his first year of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. With three years of extensive MUN experience, he is proud to join his own school’s BFISMUN as a chair for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Born in Barcelona, Thomas's global cosmopolitan upbringing has led him to develop a deep understanding of diverse cultures while developing multilingual abilities. His background inspired him to join his school's MUN team in 2022, finding a passion for diplomacy and public speaking that has pushed him to achieve his current chairing position. As a chair, Thomas aims to inspire and encourage delegates, especially those new to MUN, to actively participate and build confidence. Thomas is eager to expand his knowledge and skills through this conference!

Oscar Swift Yeh

Oscar Swift Yeh is a Junior at Benjamin Franklin International School in Barcelona. He was born in the United States and has lived in Barcelona for a year. Oscar joined the Model United Nations club at BFIS last year when he entered the school and since then, has been a member of the executive team at BFIS for the MUN club. He has participated in conferences online and in person in Taiwan, where he lived for 9 years. Throughout his years participating in MUN, he attended conferences such as THIMUN, BIMUN, TASMUN, and more, acting as a chair for several of them. Oscar is looking forward to chairing again in a different setting for BFISMUN in the UNODC. Being in MUN has given Oscar the ability to improve his public speaking and social skills, and he has had many unforgettable experiences. 

Vic Markarova 

Vic Markarova is a sophomore student at Benjamin Franklin International School (BFIS) in Barcelona. She is half Ukrainian and Armenian and joined the school in 2021 after being born and raised in Ukraine. She became a member of the Model United Nations (MUN) club 1.5 years ago and has since participated in conferences such as OAKMUN, BFISMUN, IMUN, and BCNMUN, earning two awards along the way. Her dedication to MUN will culminate in her first chairing experience at BFISMUN 2025, leading the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) committee; she hopes to bring the best experiences for the delegates of this committee. Throughout her involvement in MUN, she developed better public speaking skills, leadership and expanded her knowledge in politics and economics. Beyond her passion for politics and history, Vic is an accomplished dancer with interests in ballet, art, volleyball, guitar, and reading, she also serves as vice president of the feminist club at BFIS. She is looking forward to wide participation and an exciting conference in the UNODC committee!
