Yuqi Wang 

Yuqi is a junior at the Benjamin Franklin International School of Barcelona. She was born in China and moved to Spain in elementary. Since joining Model UN in 9th grade, she has participated in various conferences; among them, she earned best delegate in BIMUN, HAGAMUN, and most honorably in BFISMUN II. Model UN has given her the opportunity to engage with global issues and explore politics from a diverse range of perspectives. For this conference, she will be chairing Security Council. Outside of MUN, she enjoys drawing and being an active, participating, enthusiastic member of the BFIS photography club. She hopes BFISMUN III can be a pleasant and enriching experience for all those attending. 

Ciaran McDougall

Ciaran McDougall is currently a junior at the Benjamin Franklin International school of Barcelona. Ciaran was born in New Delhi, India before being moved to the United Kingdom at a young age. After this, he moved to South Africa, where he resided for 5 years, until he was taken to Phuket, Thailand. Ciaran has also spent extensive time in California, the USA and the United kingdom before moving to Barcelona 5 years ago. Ciaran joined Model United Nations in 9th grade and he has participated in several conferences since. Ciaran’s passion for debate and for the Model UN club stems from his interest in Current Affairs, which can be further observed through his role as co-president of the Global Insights club and course selection of High Level global politics in the IB. Participating in MUN has granted ciaran the ability to confidently speak in public settings and has greatly developed upon his aptitude for debate. This year, he will be chairing the Security Council committee. Outside of MUN, Ciaran’s interests consist of filmmaking, photography, playing guitar and cycling.
